Mr. Lee married former actress Hedy Lamarr, in the 1950s. Their divorce in 1960 led to a long court battle over alimony.
Soon after, Lee married actress Gene Tierney and remained married for two decades, until his death.
Other survivors include a daughter, Donna Lee Curtin of Aspen, and two sisters,
