Rev. Edwin Earl Stone was the son of Prentice Barrett and Martha Elizabeth (Batchelder) Stone. He was the husband of Harriet Marie (Carney) Stone. They were married June 23,1892. Harriet died July 19, 1941. Rev. Stone was a Local Preacher in the Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He served Wellsville, Allegany Co., Olean District 1898-1926.
