Louis Behnken
ELGIN, Minn. (Special) - Louis Behnken, 78, who farmed in Haverhill Township until moving to Viola 16 years ago, died early today at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p. m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Edward Lazarz officiating. Burial will be in the Viola Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Schriver Funeral Home, Plainview, from Thursday until Friday noon or at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.
Born in Hanover, Germany, Nov. 8, 1877, Mr. Behnken came to this area as a youth. He was married to Miss Rosella Teske Oct. 15, 1902 at Rochester.
Surviving are: His wife; two sons, Walter and Clarence, both of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Ervin Rosolack, Elgin, and Mrs. Perry Huntoon, Plainview; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
