Fabian D. Kessler, age 75, of 3883 Columbus St, NE, Canton, was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday evening at Timken Mercy Hospital where he was taken after suffering an apparent heart attack. Born in Rose Township, Carroll County, he had been a resident of Canton for the past 50 years. He was a retired maintenance man for the Canton City School District, retiring from the Mason Elementary School in 1965 after 40 years service. He also was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Canton. He and his wife, Barbara (Burk) Kessler would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on the 17th of May. Survivors besides his widow of the home, include a daughter, Mrs. James (Jeannie) Casper, of Canton; one son, Robert B. Kessler of Canton; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Alice) Baron and Mrs. Harry (Ida) Norris, both of Canton; one brother, Ralph Kessler of Canton; and eight grandchildren.
