Cecilia J. Griffin
Funeral Mass was Nov. 15 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in St. Louis for Cecilia J Griffin, 89 a native of Koeltztown.
The Rev. David Rauch conducted the funeral for Mrs. Griffin, who died Nov. 12 at a St. Louis County nursing home. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
Mrs. Griffin was born Aug. 17, 1012, to John Utrecht and the former Christine Holterman. She was married to Cecil Griffin, who preceded her in death.
A St. Louis resident for many years, she had been employed as a housekeeper in the health-care industry.
Survivors include a brother, Fred Utrecht of Koeltztown; two sisters, Josephine Heckman and Pauline Rackers, both of Koeltztown; two sons, Jack Griffin and Charles Griffin of Bonne Terre; a daughter, Kathryn Garrison of Cary, N.C.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Two other brothers, Hubert and Arnold Utrecht, preceded her in death.
