RICHTON - Retired Col. Ernest Clyde Sellers, 80, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at his home. He was a retired manager of Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Army Reserves. He also was a member of the Army National Guard. He was a cattle farmer and served as director of the Board of the Southeast Mississippi Livestock Association. He loved his family and enjoyed taking care of his livestock.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Richton United Methodist Church. Jones and Son Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Elizabeth "Prissy" Sellers; his two sons, Lura (Cathy) Sellers of Richton and David (Thu) Sellers of Hattiesburg; three daughters, Dee Rasberry of Hattiesburg, Lisa (Mike) Murphree of Tupelo and Tonya (Eddie) Cochran of Richton; one sister, Margie (Joe) Sumrall of Hattiesburg; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lura and Josie Sellers; a brother, Otho Sellers; and a grandson, Matthew Rasberry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mississippi Chapter, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.
