Rosie Oretha Blume
CHARMCO — Rosie Oretha Blume, 91, of Charmco, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Heartland of Rainelle following a long illness.
Born November 12, 1918, in Edmond, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Eva Alice Stroud Seelinger.
Rosie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Winona Baptist Church and attended Newton Memorial Church in Charmco.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray Blume, in 1980, and a son, Fred Wallace Blume.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard Blume and wife, Madoline, of Victorville, Calif., Bill Joe Blume and wife, Sara, of Macon, Ga., and James Blume and wife, Barbara, of Quinwood; a sister, Thelma Allport of Ames Heights; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Blume of Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon today, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville with Rev. Lee Harris officiating. Burial will follow immediately afterward.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. today, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle. There will be no evening visitation.
