Anna Pearl Confer, 89
of Clearfield died Friday, November 19, 2004 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. Born October 4, 1915 in Clearfield County, she was the daughter of William Lloyd and Olive Jane Ogden Dale.
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Clearfield and sang in the choir. She was a charter member of the Clearfield Choral Society and a member of Clearfield Women’s Club. She was the Executive Secretary of the Clearfield Area United Way, retiring on September 25, 1997.
Mrs. Confer is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Glenn English (Diane) of Clearfield, Mrs. Louis “Butsy” Donahue (Janet) of Curwensville, and Mrs. Richard Hilleman (Elaine) of Danville, California.
Seven Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard B. Confer, in July 1977, and whom she wed August 8, 1934, a Son, Gerald R. (Jerry) Confer, three Brothers, Edgar, Lee, and Lynn Dale. Three Sisters, Mrs. Vaughn Holt, (Ethel), Mrs. William Duff, (Claire) and Mrs. Frank May (Lelia).
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11:00AM with Rev. Matthew C. Holbert officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Monday from 10-11:00 AM
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Johns Lutheran Church 217 East Pine Street Clearfield or the Clearfield Area United Way 18 North Second Street Clearfield.
