Harry B. Gardner, formerly of this city, died yesterday afternoon at his residence at Mt. Erie, Ill. Mr. Gardner was a farmer and at one time teller in a local bank. He was born in Springfield and resided here about 50 years ago, removing to Mt. Erie about 20 years ago. Death followed an illness of ten days.
Surviving are his wife, May; one son, Hiram, both of Mt. Erie; one brother, John J. Gardner, this city; and two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Brown, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. William Hopping, Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral services will be held this morning at Mt. Erie. Interment will be made tomorrow afternoon in Oak Ridge cemetery.
