J. Ira Klingler Succumbs to Illness of Several Months Duration
J. Ira Klingler, 48, well known druggist , died at 11:15 am Monday,
at his home, 327 N. Baxter Street. He had been ill for several
months and had recently returned from Ashville, N.C. where
he went in an effort to regain his health. Klingler was born in
Ada, March 2, 1878 and came to Lima when very young. He has
been engaged in the drug business here for the past 25 years,
conducting stores at Main and Spring-sts and Baxter and
North-sts. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Miss Lois
Klingler, at home ; his father M.W., of Paulding; two brothers
and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at the Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. A.H. Peffley will officiate.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Arthur Peffly will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn. Mr. Klingler was proprietor of the Klingler Drug company, Main and Spring streets, and also was associated with the West Side Pharmacy, North and Baxter streets. Friends are requested to call at the house as the coffin will not be opened at the church.
