Mrs. Marie E. Horsfall, 74, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and formerly of Lawrence County, died Sunday, July 29, at 2:14 a.m.
Visitation and the funeral will be at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kalamazoo. Redmond Funeral Home in Kalamazoo are in charge of arrangements. Rosary will be at the Redmond Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Father James Remmerswaal presiding.
Mrs. Horsfall was born on April 30, 1910, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Clark and Clara Scholte Ernst.
She married Wesley Horsfall on April 3, 1945, who survives.
She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kalamazoo, St. Joseph Altar Society and served 20 years to the Kalamazoo County 4-H as a leader and judge.
Survivors include her husband, one son, Darryll of Scots, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Janet) Fitzpatrick of Kalamazoo; a sister, Mrs. Irene Batchelor of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Sondra and Sara Horsfall of Scots; and Eric Fitzpatrick of Kalamazoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Maurice Ernst.
