Obituary: Little May Dene Fay Wathen, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wathan, was born January 11, 1951, and departed this life February 23, 1951, at the age of one month and twelve days. Little May Dene Fay had been ill since birth. She spent her first three weeks in the Hadley hospital at Hays, Kansas, and had been under the doctor's care since. She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Dale Wathan, four sisters: Joyce Ann Wathan of Downs, Kans., Romona, Dolleita and Kay of the home; two brothers: Everett and Robert of the home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Wathan and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Griswould, of Plainville. A short service was conducted Sunday afternoon at the Mosher Funeral Home by Rev. B.A. Hartnett of the Nazarene church. Interment was in the Plainville cemetery.
