Lucille J. Wilson Fenstermaker, 83, of Sycamore, formerly of Springfield, died at 9:53 a.m. Tuesday at DeKalb County Nursing Home, DeKalb.

She was born Jan. 26, 1909, in Whiting, Ind. She married George Wilson in Springfield and he preceded her in death. She later married Roy Fenstermaker Sr. in 1963 in Sycamore. Also preceding her in death were a sister and four brothers.

Mrs. Fenstermaker was formerly employed by the state Department of Commerce. She was a Women's Army Corps veteran of World War II and a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church and Sycamore Women's Club.

Surviving are her husband, Roy; a stepson, Thomas Fenstermaker of Sycamore; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Fox of Lansing; and two sisters, Alice Maisel and Mildred Pillow, both of Batavia.

Services at Sycamore United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Chaney and the Rev. Kirk Reed officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
