Mrs. John Sellers, South Twenty-Eighth ave, died at 5 pm Friday at the South Mississippi Infirmary, following a long Illness. She was 80 years old.
Services will be held at 2:30 p m. Sunday at the Quigley Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Tommy Messer, pastor of Twenty-Eighth Avenue Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Baptist Church cemetery near Collins.
Survivors include; four daughter, Mrs. W. F. Hemby of RFD 1, Mrs. Annie Kelley of Jackson, Mrs. O. S. Smith of Harvey and Mrs. Lee Chain of Hattiesburg; five sons, Sylvester Sellers of RFD 1, T. R. Sellers of Rawls Springs, Devan and Webb Sellers of Hattiesburg, and W. H. Sellers of Odessa, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Sellers of Collins and Mrs. Lillie Graves of Hattiesburg; a brother, Jonas Strahorn [sic] of Hattiesburg; 38 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers are P. W. Acree, W. I. Beard, Kenneth Rawls, Porter Yates, Davis Shows and John L. Barber.
