Sue Ann Heisinger was the daughter of Paul J. and Frances Victoria (Schwering) Volkmer. She graduated from St. Peters Catholic High School in 1953 and married David Heisinger on June 9, 1956, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Jefferson City.
During the years when she worked outside the home, she worked as a bookkeeper for Milo H. Walz and Busch's Florist & Greenhouse, and she worked as a secretary for Household Finance Company. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and served as a Cub Scouts Den Mother and as a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed league bowling, fishing, camping, and was an avid Cardinals fan.
She was survived by her husband; by one son; by three daughters; by three brothers, Harold Volkmer, Paul Volkmer, and Robert Volkmer; and by three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard "Dick" Volkmer.
