Excerpt--Gerald Eugene Falkenstine, 54, of Louise Ave., died Monday in St. Vincent Pallotti Hospital. He was born March 13, 1915 in Preston County, a son of W. Harvey Falkenstine of Westover, and the late Minnie Smith Falkenstine. He was superintendent of the Westover Branch of the Morgantown Post Office and a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Clarice McGee Falkenstine; two sons, Brett E. and Craig L.; three brothers, Jerome of Glen Burnie, Md., Lawrenc of Munich, Germany, and Milford H. of Sterling Park, Va. Two brothers, Harry and Willard (Skip) Falkenstine preceded him in death. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood, WV.
