PARKER COOPER, age 84, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 6, 1998 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello.

He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on November 23, 1913, the son of Fountain Fox and Frances Shearer Cooper. Both parents preceded him in death.

He married Ather Hicks, who preceded him in death. No children were born to this union. He later married Ruby Hale DeBord, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two children Steven DeBord of Monticello, Kentucky and Ruth Ann Bowen of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and 6 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are 2 sisters Amelia Driggers and Maymie Johns.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, August 9, 1998 at 2 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Harlan Ogle officiating. Burial was in the Cooper Family Cemetery just off Highway 1275.

PARKER COOPER, age 84, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 6, 1998 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello.
