Suffering four weeks from an attack of paralysis received at the Acme Motor Car Company, where he was employed, Herman Dauth, aged 42, who resided at 353 North Eleventh street, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Deceased was a native of this city. He had been employed six years as a tinsmith by the Acme Company. His parents Charles V. and Mary Dauth died several years ago. Deceased is survived by a daughter, Katharine, and a sister Carolina of Elmira, N.Y. Three stepsisters: Mrs. Kate Billinger, Mrs. Annie Gussman, both of this city, and Laura Matz, Phila., also remain. deceased was a member of the Rainbow Fire Company, Amalgamated Steel and Iron Workers' Union, and St. John's German Lutheran Church. He was Steward of the Northeastern Democratic Association.
