Life long resident of Vestavia, Cecil B. Sutter died at his residence following a long illness at the age of 84. Mr. Sutter was a veteran of World War II and a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he had continued to be active in the Business Association of the University. He was also active in the Senior Citizen Club of Vestavia Hills. He is retired from his own business, the Bama Demolition Company. He is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Mr. Sutter is survived by several nephews and nieces, as well as great nephews and nieces. Interment was Monday, December 3, at the Elmwood Cemetery.
