Funeral services for Alvin O. Beninghaus, 97, of Wabeno, who died Thursday at Superior Nursing Home, Antigo, were at 1 pm Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wabeno. The Rev. Harvey Kahrs officiated and burial was in Knollwood Memorial Gards, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Beninghaus was born Sept. 7, 1872 in Fond du Lac County and was a former Two Rivers resident and Hamilton Mfg. Co. employee.
Survivors include his wife, the former Matie Zenk; two daughters, Mrs. Leigh Andrews of Two Rivers and Mrs. Elwood Torke of Sheboygan; three sons, Carl of White Lake, Amos of Two Rivers and Harold of Milwaukee; two sisters, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
