Mrs Volney J. Klein, 74, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Clarks Mills, the Rev. Henry Arens officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Klein, nee Rose Weber, was born October 29, 1890, at Kaukauna, daughter of the late John and Frances Pfeffer Weber. She was married Oct. 12, 1920, to Mr. Klein at Francis Creek , and after their marriage located on a farm on Rt. 4, Manitowoc. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Altar Society. Her husband died April 19, 1961.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Rydzewski of Manitowoc and Mrs. Alan (Olive) Varda of Slinger, Wis., a son, John Jr., of Wauconda, Ill., a brother Frank of Manitowoc and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited by the society members, parish and friends at 7 p.m.
