Anton Kohlbeck, 76, of Rt. 1, Cato, retired Manitowoc County farmer, died Friday at his home in the village of Cato, following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Michael Fetko will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Cato in 1878 and in 1903 married Miss Clara Vogel. They located on a farm in Cato. He retired several years ago. His wife died in 1948.
Surviving are two daughters , Mrs. Lawrence Grall of Manitowoc and Mrs. Leonard Alpon of Clarks Mills; three sons, William J. of Detroit; Edward L. of Manitowoc and Robert J. of Clarks Mills; four brothers, Frank, George, Louis and Ferdinand of Rt. 1, Cato; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Denk and Mrs. Adolph Brunner of Rt. 1, Cato; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon, Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
