Walter P. Hein, age 83, of 3400 Yorkshire Ln., Manitowoc, died Friday, February 2, 2001 at his residence. There will be no visitation or funeral services according to Walter’s wishes.
A memorial Mass will be held privately at a later date. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clarks Mills. Walter was born June 9, 1917, in Manitowoc, son of the late Mathias and Odelia Trost Hein. He married Jenny Morgan February 5, 1966 at St. Mary Catholic church, Clarks Mills. Walter was employed by Hein Plumbing for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny Hein, Manitowoc; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Anton and Elaine Hein, Manitowoc, Fred Hein, Manitowoc, Marshall and Joyce Hein, Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Margaret Popp, Manitowoc, Katherine and Stanley Sieracki, clover, Mary Jane and Alfred Mecca, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
