Joseph Denk Sr., 77, of Cato, retired farmer, died Sunday at the Holy Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Reedsville Cooperative funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Catholic church, Clarks Mills, the Rev. M.J. Feike officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Cato in 1872 and in 1896 married Miss Eva Eigenberger. They located on the homestead farm and retired a few years ago.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Christ Feiereisen and Mildred of this city; six sons, Anton of Reedsville, Joseph Jr. of Brillion, Lawrence of Madison, Richard of Lynwood, Calif., Bernard of Alma, Wis., and Frank of Oinak, Wash.; five brothers, Frank of Clarks Mills, Charles of Cato, Anton of Maple Grove, Ferdinand of Auburndale, Wis., and William of Greenwood, Wis.; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
