Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Mary Catholic church in Clarks Mills with the Rev. Michael Fetko officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born on his parents farm in the town of Cato in 1870, Mr. Denk married the former Elizabeth Pankratz at the St. Mary church in 1914. The couple farmed in the town until Mr. Denk's retirement several years ago when they moved to the village of Clarks Mills.
Surviving are the wife; three sons, John Fr., of Manitowoc, Reuben of Milwaukee and Oscar of Clarks Mills; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Zingen of Park Falls, Mrs. Oromel Standard of Fort Atkinson and Mrs. Francis M. Lea of Galveston,k Texas; and six brothers, Joseph of Grimms, Frank of Clarks Mills, Anton of Maple Grove, Charles of Franklin, Ferdinand of Auburndale, Wis., and William of Greenwood, Wis.
The body may be viewed at the Berge funeral home in Valders from 2 p.m.
Sunday until removal to the Clarks Mills church Monday morning. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.
