MARY GEIGEL

Mrs. John Geigel, 82, of Rt. 2, Reedsville, died at her home about 8:30 Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Rev. William Koutnik officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Clark Mills.
Born in Germany Aug. 16, 1877, daughter of the late George and Anna Stahl, Mrs. Geigel came to this country at the age of 15. She was married to John Geigel Oct. 12, 1897, at St. Nazianz. They farmed all their lives in the Town of Rockland. He died about 15 years ago.
The deceased was a honorary member of the Christian Mothers of St. Mary Church at Clark Mills.
Survivors include three sons, William of Manitowoc, Ed of Rt. 1, Reedsville, and Alphonse at home; four daughters, Monica of Rt. 1, Reedsville, Mrs. Charles C. Vondrachek of Reedsville and Mrs. Frank Dvorachek and Mrs. Edwin Saur of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Schwab of St. Nazianz and Mrs. Sylvia Mertens of Milwaukee; 27 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A sister, Mrs. Kaltenbrun of St. Nazianz, preceded her in death in January.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
