Raymond was born the son of Harry Raymond Allen and Alma Irene Kraft on Thursday, October 23, 1930 in Peck, KS.
On, November 25, 1959, Raymond and Arleta Rusk were united in marriage in Wellington, KS. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Raymond was very passionate when it came to mission work. This work allowed Raymond and Arleta to travel from coast to coast and border to border in the United States. He was there in time of need during the natural disasters of Hurricane Katrina and the Greensburg tornado. Farming was also a committed passion for Raymond, he enjoyed his time working the land.
Survivors include; wife, Arleta Allen of the home; son, Reef Allen and his wife Sherry of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Robert Allen and his wife Janice of Peck, KS; daughter, Celeste Dinkel and her husband Leon of Hays, KS; daughter, Lisa Willems and her husband Jim of Farmington, NM; niece, Alicia Russell of Dallas, TX; great nephew, Steve Russell and his wife April of Lewisville, TX and great-great nephew, Sterling Russell of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren; Justin, Jacob and Lorne Allen; Kayla and Garet Dinkel; Ashly Allen and Amber Willems.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Irene Brush.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at the Belle Plaine United Methodist Church, 124 East 10th Avenue, Belle Plaine, KS 67013.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established in his loving memory with the Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. Lodge 173, 421 North Merchant Street, Belle Plaine, KS. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), 120 E. 9th, Wellington, KS 67152 or to a donation of your choice. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home or church.
