Born in Ashland, PA on October 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Martin and Florence (Gallagher) Bane
He was of the Catholic Faith.
He was a 1959 graduate of the Immaculate Heart High School, Ashland, and a graduate of the Bloomsburg State College.
He worked as a teacher for the Haverford Senior High School, and then as a Graphic Arts salesman for various companies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary in 1937.
He is survived by a brother, John and his wife, Sally Bane of Ashland. A nephew, John Bane, Ashland, and two nieces, Rhoda Bane, King of Prussia and Maeve Bane, Ashland also survive as do cousins and his care givers - Sam and Barbara Garland, Hamburg.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of family with burial in the Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah.
