Actress. A petite brunette, she made her performing debut in vaudeville at age six. She entered motion pictures as an extra, appearing in comedies with the Nestor, Ince and Christie companies. She joined Universal Pictures in the 1914, and spent a decade there. Films she either starred or co-starred in included "Beans" (1918), "Lasca" (1919), "The Adorable Savage" (1920), "The Triflers" (1920), "Her Five Foot Highness" (1920), "Alias Miss Dodd" (1920), "Seven Keys to Baldpate" (1925 version) and "The Jazz Girl" (1926). She retired from her film career at the advent of sound motion pictures after marrying Harold "Nick" Carter. Edith Roberts died from complications after the birth of a son, Robert.
