Roy Stolle of County Line was born July 27, 1922 and passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015. He was the son of D. G. and Mary (Dirndhal) Stolle. Roy went to school in Hackberry and graduated with honors from Southland School in 1940. He farmed in the Southland and Shallowater communities. He was a merchant marine and member of Shepherd King Lutheran Church in Lubbock.
He is survived by his sister, Ella Mae, as well as nieces, nephews and special family members.
Roy was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Edmund, Leo, and Arthur; and two sisters, Pearl and Hilda.
