Funeral services for Adell Nash Allison, age 75, of McMinnville, formerly of Baxter, will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Craven officiating.
Interment will follow in Nash Cemetery on Cookeville Boat Dock Rd.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, January 13th, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday, January 14th, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allison passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at her home in McMinnville, Tennessee following extended illness.
She was born Thursday, June 5, 1941 in Baxter, Tennessee to the late Green Duke Nash and Mary Ella Hedgecoth Nash.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty seven years, Paul Wayne Allison; three sisters, Ima Rhoton, Martha Swafford, and Evelyn Randolph, and a brother, Asher Nash.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Elane) Allison, of Viola, Tennessee, and Rocky Allison, of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandaughter, Jamie (Travis) Hutchins, of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandson, Justin "Bubba" Allison, of Viola, Tennessee; three sisters, Lorene Trobaugh, of Baxter, Tennessee, Ann Western, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Ruby Lafever, of Crossville, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Lee Taylor, Joe Trobaugh, Russell Swafford, Arland Lafever, Garland Western, and Wayne Nash.
