"Mrs. G. G. Anderson Dies
Wife of Forest Service Employee to Be Buried Tomorrow.
Mrs. Amie V. Anderson, wife of George Graham Anderson, the latter connected with the forest service, Department of Agriculture, for the last twenty-three years, died at her home, 1420 Decatur street northwest, yesterday. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow at 2p.m. Rev. Josiah Sibley, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, Chicago, will officiate, assisted by Rev. W. A. Eisenberger of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Jersey Shore, Pa. She and Mr. Anderson celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary on the 5th of this month. They had been making their residence in this city since Mr. Anderson came here from Savannah, Ga., to accept a position with the Department of Agriculture.
She was a member of the Women's City Club and had for many years taken interest in the activities of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Chester Morrill, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Huff of Canajoharie, N. Y."
