Carl Anderson, 93, of 4186 Antiqua Rd. SW, Carrollton, died Thursday of last week in Carroll County Hospital, where he had been a patient the past four years. Born in Heberg, Sweden, April 4, 1884, a son of the late Anders and Lovisa (Bengtson) Peterson, he came to the United States in 1904 and resided in Pennsylvania before moving to Carroll County in 1924. A retired farmer, he was a member of Carrollton Trinity Lutheran Church, Carroll County Farm Bureau and Carroll County Coon hunters Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Anderson, who he married October 8, 1909; six sons, Harry, Karl, Eugene and Donald, all of Carrollton, and Arnold and Doyle, both of Canton; a daughter, Mrs. S. W. (Elvera) Dingler of Carrollton; 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. services were held Sunday in the Sweeney Funeral home at Carrollton with Rev. Charles Horn officiating. Burial was in Leavittsville Cemetery.
