Mrs. Marguerite Elizabeth Andrews Anderson, 92, of McLeansville, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, at Moses Cone Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 6, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Marguerite was born in Guilford County on November 8, 1915, to the late Clayton and Myrtle Campbell Andrews. She was a retired employee of P. Lorillard Tobacco, and was a 73-year member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Marguerite was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Theodore Anderson.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Vernon, Teresa Anderson and Dr. Tim Anderson, all of McLeansville, and Michael T. Anderson, of Oak Island, N.C.; brothers, Bruce Andrews of Whitsett, N.C., Dean Andrews of Concord, N.C., and Bobby Andrews of Tenn.; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
