For the benefit of her son's family, Ethel (Archibald) Abbey heritage stems to Robert & Ann (Boyd) Archibald where Robert was born circa 1668 in NIR, died 1765 in Londonderry, Rockingham, NH USA & his 2nd g.s. (Samuel, 2nd son of John), abt 1721 emigrated Londerry, NIR to New England; 13Dec 1762 from NE to Truro, NS CAN. Whereas Samuel (1719-1774), is my 4th great GF, he is Ethel's 3rd great GF. It follows that Ethel was my 2nd cousin, once removed, whereas her son, Eugene, is my 3rd cousin. I believe that Eugene & Irene had 3 sons.
