MRS. MINNIE AUGER
Death of Mrs. Minnie Auger, 80, of 16 Lake street, occurred on Monday morning, March 12, in the Warsaw hospital where she had been a patient with a broken hip since Feb 24.
Minnie Rector was born in Sandy Creek, Jefferson County, N.Y., on July 12, 1870, a daughter of Nicholas and Cynthia Adams Rector. On July 5, 1886, she was united in marriage to James William Auger of Piffard, who passed away in August of 1931.
She came to Perry in 1904 and had made her home for the past 17 years with her daughter, Mrs. Roy Weigel. She was a member of the Perry Baptist Church.
Survivors include two children, Mrs. Roy Weigel (Eva), and William Auger, both of Perry. Another child died in infancy. Also five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.
Funeral services were held from the Eaton Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon, March 14 at 2 o'clock with Rev. Earl Beal of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery.
