Adrienne F. (Pessini) Ball, 72, of Southborough, MA, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at MetroWest Medical Center Framingham, after a lingering illness. Born in Ridgefield, CT, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Adrienne (Pichette) Pessini and the wife of Sherman Ball of Southborough

A graduate of St. Ann's Academy, Marlborough and the former Cardinal Cushing College, Mrs. Ball had been employed as a medical secretary and office manager for Dr. Edwin Meserve and Dr. Marilyn Meserve of Southborough for over 27 yrs. before retiring in 1985.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Frances Oyama of Clinton, her sisters, Barbara Messier and her husband Robert of Asheville, NC and Maryjane Carey and her husband John of Southborough, her nieces, Maryanne and Nicole Messier and many cousins. She was also the grandmother of the late Emiko Oyama.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough and will be private.
