Carl Edward Bell, 66, Petite Riviere, died September 18, 1997, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Volgers Cove, he was a son of the late Urban and Violet (Wamboldt) Bell. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater. He was a retired stationary engineer with South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Surviving are his wife, the former Joyce MacDonald; sons, David (Juanita), Bridgewater; Daniel (Jane), Hammonds Plains; Thomas (Wendy), Branch LaHave; Timothy, Dartmouth; James (Pamela), Craig, Petite Riviere; daughter, Deborah (Peter Emeneau), Kuujjuap, Quebec; brothers, Harry Nelson, Greenfield; James Nelson, Ontario; sister, Mildred Churchill, Ontario; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, William in infancy; sisters, Evelyn, Mona; brother, Maxwell. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Private family burial will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bridgewater. Immediate family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund or any charity. Arrangements entrusted to R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.
