Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter. Mrs. Joseph Blatz, the former Helena Schneider, Dotyville, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday after a lingering illness. She was born Mar. 22, 1874. Survivors are her widower, four children, Raymond, Fond du Lac, R. 2, Pfc Lawrence Blatz, stationed in England, Bernice, at home and Jerry, Fond du Lac, R. 2, four stepchildren, Clarence and Leo of Dotyville, Edwin of this city and Mrs. jack Reed, Chicago, 29 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Joseph Wuest, city, and a brother, Adam Schneider, Friendship. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael’s church, Dotyville.

Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter. Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Blatz of Dotyville were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from the residence and at 10 a.m. from St. Michael’s church, Dotyville, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Peter Schwamb officiated. Pallbearers were Hubert Abhold, Alfred Baganz, Fred Baganz, Arthur Taff, Joseph Mertes and Robert Byrnes. Those attending inlcuded Mrs. Jack Reed of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Blatz and Mrs. John Griner of Van Dyne, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wuest and family of Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Schneider of Friendship and others from this city, Mt. Calvary, St. Peter and other nearby communities.
