BOLIVAR, Althea Gertrude - 82 Upper Branch, Lunenburg County formerly of Baker Settlement passed away November 11, 2008 at home. Born in West Clifford she was a daughter of the late Churchill and Goldie (Huey) Bolivar. She is survived by half-sisters, Barbara (Ray) Stagg; Marilyn (Emerson) Whynott, both of Wileville; half-brother, Douglas Garber, Petitcodiac, NB; sister-in-law, Viola Garber, West Clifford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; half-brother, Norman.

Arrangements are under the direction of the R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the I.W.K. Health Centre Foundation.
