PULASKI — Mary Lou Armstrong 89, of Pulaski, TN, died Monday, April 24, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 28, 2006, from 10:30-11 am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at 291 Wayne Street with services to follow at 11 am at the Church with Pastor Richard Davis officiating. The body will Lie-in-State Thursday at V. K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home with burial in Braden Cemetery in Lynnville, TN.

V. K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joshua and Tom Ella Martin Braden. She attended the Maury County school system. She was a member of the Fountain Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Culleoka, TN where she served on the Mother's Board and was a Sunday School Teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Armstrong; and two sons, Robert Lee and John Henry Armstrong.

Survivors include four children: James E. (Annie) Armstrong of Lynnville, TN, Rev. William B. (Estella) Armstrong of Nashville, TN, Lula M. (Edward) Drake of Pulaski, TN, and Addie A. (James) Bellafant of Inkster, MI; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister John Ella Ray and brother Charles (Gladys) Braden, both of Columbia, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
