Barbara Lee Anklam (nee Brinkman) “Barbie”, age 75, of West Bend, was born to eternal life on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Aurora in Grafton. She was born on October 10, 1939 in Milwaukee to George and Rachel (nee Emerson) Brinkman. Barbara lived in Greendale and then Milwaukee. She Met Arnie Anklam and they married May 3, 1956 and moved to Port Washington in 1962 and then to West Bend in 1996. Barbara worked at Simplicity Manufacturing for 28 years and retired in 2000.

Barbara was the beloved wife of Arnold E. Anklam; loving mother of Danny (Sue) Anklam of Orange Vale, CA, Jeanne Rae (Rick) Wallace of Sheboygan, Jesse (Jill) Anklam of Random Lake; proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren Lindsey, Halei, Drew, Ben, Sean, Caitlin, Mason and Reed; great grandchild Sabastian. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law Jerry Noeske of Bradenton, FL and Don Beebe, 9 nieces, 4 nephews, sister-in-law Karen (Dennis) Leyer, Nancy Ulrichsen, Kay Anklam and Spring (John) Anklam. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law Dick Ulrichsen and Larry Anklam, sisters Mary Noeske and Betty Beebe.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00pm with Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 11:00am until the time of the service. Entombment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family.
