Betty L. Bronson, formerly of West Chester
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna Hutton Grove.
Betty lived in West Chester her entire life.
She was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed square dancing and knitting.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her dog, Shadow.
She also enjoyed her caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living.
Betty retired as an executive secretary for the former Starr Business Forms in Frazer.
Previously she was employed for Bishop Tube in Paoli and B.E. Wallace Co. in Frazer.
She is survived by five children, Bob Bronson, husband to Donna of Sacramento, Calif., Larry Bronson, husband to Cathy of Mt. Olive, N.C., Gary Bronson of St Albans, W.V., Judith Bronson of Orlando, Fla., and Ron Bronson, husband to Phyllis of West Chester. Also surviving are one sister, Dorothy Valentino of West Chester; a former daughter-in-law, Gale Bradley of Ironton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Founds Funeral Home Inc., High and Union streets, West Chester, 610-696-0134, www.foundsfuneralhome.com.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, West Goshen.
