The funeral of Mr. J.M. Carr took place from Epworth M.E. Church Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.J. Young, D.D., assisted by Rev. J.P. Barrett, D.D. the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, the following pall-bearers officiating: Messrs. Louis Phillips, L. McK. Jack, C.C. Cobb, C.L. Whichard, A.T. Guy, Augustus Wright, Jr., Baker Ames and Walter Martin.
