Mrs. Donna Allen, 34, of Jackson, Miss. formerly of Caruthersville, died September 22, 1994 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Born August 16, 1960 in Hayti, she was the daughter of Mary Jewell Lambert and Melvin Cecil. She attended schools in Caruthersville.
She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Allen of Jackson; Her father and step mother, Melvin and Claudette Cecil of Caruthersville; a daughter, Misty Cecil of Jackson; A son, Adam Mayberry of Jackson; three brothers Guy Tate of Caruthersville, Mike Cecil of Dyersburg, and Danny Cecil of Alamo, Tenn.; a sister, Shonna Lackey of Morley, Mo.; and her grandmother, Marie Bell of Lafe, Ark.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Tate.
Services were September 26 at 1 p.m. at H.S. Smith Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville, the Rev. Preston Baker officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery.
