Plymouth – Mrs. Ellen Ames, 79, former well-known Plymouth resident, passed away Thursday noon at the Masonic Home at Dousman where she had resided for the past seven years. Born August 16, 1866, in Minnestoa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Chaplin, she was a member of the First congregational church and affiliated with the Loyalty chapter No. 118, Order of Eastern Star, Plymouth.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Witt (Gladys) Swart of West Bend; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Guy Chaplin of Hartford.
Funeral services will be held at the Wittkopp Funeral home, the Rev. Samuel Bullough officiating, and burial will be made in the Union Cemetery.
