Mrs. Ada A. Brattian, aged 64 years, died at her home on the Spurlington Road, near this city, Wednesday, October 2. She had been twice married. Her first husband was Mr. Elmer Chapman, and to this union was born two daughters, both of whom survive: Mrs. Guy Strong and Mrs. Willie Sullivan, both of this county. Mr. Chapman having preceded her to the grave a number of years ago, she was afterward married to Mr. Henry Brattian, who survives her. She was well known and highly respected in the community in which she lived. Funeral services were conducted from the home Friday, October 4, by her pastor, Rev. J. L. Robinson, followed by interment in Brookside Cemetery.
