Mrs. Fidelia Barber, 82, of 103 W. Parkway Ave., died Tuesday at 9 a.m. at her summer home at Sunset Point.
She was born in Chicago on Dec. 5, 1882, daughter of Josiah and Emma Chase, and was married to Elbert Barber on Oct. 4, 1905, and they observed their 60th wedding anniversary earlier this month.
Mrs. Barber was a member of First Methodist Church, organizations of the church and the Friday Club.
Surviving are her husband, Elbert, and one brother, Edwin D. Chase, Chicago.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Seefeld Funeral Home, with the Rev. John I. Adams, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Thursday until the hour of services.
