Services for Nettie Bowen will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Gary Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery, Pollock.
Mrs. Bowen, 83, of Navarre, Florida passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 in Navarre, Florida.
She was a housekeeper at Central State Hospital, retiring after 14 years of service. She then gave of her time and her self as a foster grandparent at Pinecrest Developmental School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bowen.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Cole, Jr.; daughters, Linda Johnson, Judy McKay, Louise Vercher and Dorothy Rivers; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Friends may call Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 2:00 p. m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
