When she was an unmarried young woman, she worked at the telephone company in Chicago. She met John Davoren Considine and they were married in that same city. While still in Chicago, their first 2 daughters were born: Mildred & Margaret Ann.
The family moved to Wisconsin and first settled in the Black Creek area. Two more daughters and a son were born to them in Wisconsin: Catherine "Kay", Jean Agnes & Roy Michael. Later they moved to New London, WI. Alice enjoyed crossword puzzles.
